In addition to the pictures, three-dimensional glass objects and sculptures are also being created in the Uferatelier.
In his most recent works, Nabo collaborates with young glassblowers of the Institute for Artistic Ceramics and Glass of the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences (IKKG). For the series "Liberation", the artist links steel cables in concentric rings, through which hot glass is blown. In the viscous-liquid state, the glowing mass penetrates the free spaces between the ropes and solidifies on cooling to fascinating shapes. Not all attempts succeed unscathed to survive the act of liberation, but where it succeeds, unique steel-glass sculptures are created, which carry the tension of the development process tangible in itself.

The so-called Short Moments are glass objects created in the artist's fusing oven. Glass flour painted slices are folded in the oven at high heat. Only when the artist manages to form the glowing material in a few seconds so that the glass does not touch at any point, a short moment succeeds, that after cooling it retains its shape and does not break.

The sculptures of Nabo are under great stress and those who survive the dangerous process are fascinating and unique.
