Art project “Uccelli Migratori” (migratory birds)
In the summer of 2008 the first Uccelli Migratori landed in the sculpture park in Mörfelden, from where the migratory birds quickly spread through the gardens of the country. While installing his migratory birds in the trees of the Mörfeld city park, Nabo observed the reaction of the native bird world. The excitement was great. Loud, almost malicious, it resounded from a thousand small beaks. The strangers were not welcomed in any way. At the end of the summer, the artist and the park visitors were pleased to see that the local flock of birds had got used to the “newcomers”. Blackbirds and titmice sat peacefully on the branches next to the blue angels. A symbol of hope in the middle of nature.
