They are created through a highly precise and risky process in a fusing kiln. The pieces are based on glass panes painted with glass powder, which are heated to a very high temperature in the kiln and folded at a specific moment. In just a few seconds, the artist must shape the soft material in such a way that the surfaces do not touch at any point. If this is not achieved, there is a high probability that the piece will shatter during the cooling process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each\u00a0<em>Short Moment<\/em>\u00a0is thus the result of a unique, tension-filled creative process. Only a few sculptures survive this delicate phase.
