The balcony paneling “on the bank” depicts the river below the house in an almost photorealistic way. The balcony parapet becomes the quay wall. A girl stands there, gazing down at the river. The triple-paned structure gives the image its sense of depth. A mirrored surface reflects the wave-like sandblasting of the levels in front of it. Between them, painted in glass pigments, is the figure of the girl.
