the UFERATELIER
Glass art from Wiesbaden.
Free and architecture-related glass works are created here.
Nabo Gass’ free works are mostly multilayer glass pictures. The stained glass lies between differently sandblasted panes. Image themes can thus overlap and create an analogy to complex lines of thought. Nabo Gaß draws the subjects for the glass adventure worlds from everyday life.
In order to be able to implement his ideas in glass, Nabo has developed new, patented techniques of glass design: 1989 photographic sandblasting, 1994 glass painting with ground colored glass; In 2000 he received the Glastec Düsseldorf innovation award for his splinter technology for designing glass facades in connection with photovoltaics.
