Nabo is currently working on a new outdoor sculpture – an angel formed from steel rods. The delicate body of the angel is created with minimal, deliberate lines – an exciting contradiction between material and form.
To give the rigid steel rods the desired lightness, Nabo developed his own bending device. The first tests show that the project is on the right track: gently curved loops are created from the hard material, outlining the body of the angel.
The project is still in the middle of development – there are still a few steps to go from the first drafts to the final realization. We will accompany the development and regularly show you current insights – from the first drawing to the finished sculpture.
It will still take some time before completion, but the first forms are promising. We are following the development and will keep you up to date.
